Note: this was done on the original unnerfed version of the level from 2015. The version currently uploaded on Danmaster007's account has since been updated to fix it for 60hz, which also changed the percentages due to removing an accidental empty section at the end of the level. In the fixed version, this record would be 47%. On The Purgatory's remake of the level, this record would be 40% due to its endscreen.
This level means A LOT to me as one of the original silent levels to get me interested in playing things considered impossible, and this was a goal I've had for a long time. For years in the past, I considered this level to be the human limit and skill ceiling, but I think it is safe to say that isn't true anymore. Regardless, I'm glad to be still able to push my own limits with playing levels like this one, and continue making progress towards my own personal goals.
This run in particular is INSANELY difficult. I finally passed the first ship for the first time after what felt like an eternity of far deaths 3 weeks ago, but reaching the second ship still felt just as hard as passing 30% for the first time. To put the difficulty in some context compared to other levels I've played, this run is already far harder than getting list% on Silent clubstep, but unlike Silent clubstep, the difficulty doesn't drop off after this point, it just keeps going for the rest of the level. This run alone is for sure up there with my hardest achievements in the game, and it took one of the longest grinds I've had for a record. I don't plan on stopping here, but I will take a break to focus on some other levels for now.
